Next show for Operation Write Home.  Great organization help them out with the extra cards you make and give the troops a way to write home to their loved ones who are missing them like crazy.

When you make a card make a few extra and make their lives a little brighter.

OWHtv: Episode 66

Loved the show this week.  Makes me want to get out my scraps and get to work.  Sandy you did a great job and I can not wait till next weeks show.  Until then I will keep making cards.

I hope you all will join me in making cards for OWH even if it is one card that is one soldier's card home.

I don't claim to be a great craftier nor do I plan on ever saying that I am.  I love what I do and, I have fun doing it.  I will always love creating something that someone might enjoy.  If I can make one persons day brighter or help out a person say "I can do that" then I have done well.

More flowers

These flowers are hand crochet for use on cards or on a scrapbook layout.
The left flower is made from cloth.  I made a standard  yo-yo and added a colored glass pebble to the center.  The flower on the top right is a cloth flower with a colored hot glue center.  The flower on the bottom right is made from ribbon 1/4" wide and I did a rolled rose style flower.
The little flowers are shaped and glued together in layers and centered with a crystal gem.
These TINY flowers are shaped and centered with a crystal gem.

FLOWERS I HAVE BEEN CREATING

Some of the flowers I have been working on all made out of card stock.
The two on the left is made from scalloped circles, the red flower is made from punched pear shaped card stock and  the lower right is made from the small retro flower punch.

The flowers I made in this picture the ones to the left are made of scrap strips of printed scrapbook paper , the yellow one is punched out of scraps of card stock and the white one is from a book page that was headed for the trash that I grabbed to make flowers with.

Have a great day everyone.
